Age Limit / Policies regarding Children
Our rooms are not created for children, though that does not mean they aren’t welcome. There are additional rules for groups with players who are younger than the “target audience” (16+).
- All Players must be 14 or older to go into a room without a supervising adult. The supervising adult does not have to pay admission as a player if they are not participating in the room.
- Groups with any players who are under 15 years old must have a responsible adult remain in the building for the duration of their game. Accompanying adults are welcome to watch their group on an iPad in our lobby.
- All players must be waived to go into the room. Players 16 and older sign their own waiver, anyone under 16 must be waived by a responsible adult (over 18).
Players under 11 years old are unlikely to have much to contribute to the escape room experience, which requires complex reading and problem-solving. Children may find some of the props or themes upsetting, especially the Billy’s Nightmare room. Contact us if you have any questions or concerns, or would like more information.
Damage to Rooms and/or Props
Game Masters thoroughly inspect the rooms before and after each game. We are a small business and can no longer afford to absorb the costs of repairing our rooms due to player actions. The individual who pays for the reservation is financially responsible for incidental charges due to missing or damaged props, or any other damage to our rooms/puzzles. We charge the minimum cost of repairing or replacing the damage, including labor if applicable.
It is the responsibility of all players and/or their supervisory adult to alert the Game Master of any damage which is discovered in the room or occurs during your game. Failure to report damage to your Game Master will be interpreted as intentional destruction and charged as such.
$1 Booking Fee
Required to reserve your game time. Must be paid before your booking can be finalized. Applicable to all games and all reservations, no exceptions.
$25 Rescheduling fee
Applies to any changes to your reservation game or time within 24 hours of the originally scheduled game time. Exceptions may apply.
Reservations that are more than 24 hours away qualify for one free re-scheduling. Additional changes will be subject to the rescheduling fee. Contact us if you need to change your reservation time.
$35 Cancellation & No-Show Fee
We’d always rather reschedule than cancel, contact us to explore your options for rescheduling. If necessary, we can cancel your reservation for you. See the following chart to understand the cancellation policy before you call.
No-Shows:
There are multiple groups scheduled in each room each day, we cannot allow personal delays from one group to impact other groups’ games. Your reservation time is the time at which your game is supposed to start. All of your group members must arrive 10-15 minutes before this time. You should contact us immediately if you are running late for any reason.
Groups are considered No-Show if they have not arrived and have not spoken to their Game Master by the game start time. If your group has not arrived by 10 minutes after the game time, your reservation is marked a No-Show and you forfeit your game time. We will not issue refunds on No-Show reservations.
